What do you mean by "collective memory"?
Our bodies are the most complex organisms on earth. They are the result of billions of years of evolution beginning with inorganic chemical compounds all the way up to the millions of daily organic chemical reactions that take place in our bodies today. Our bodies carry the recorded history of this evolutionary process in the DNA strings that reside in every cell of our bodies.
This is, in a sense, a collective memory of all organisms that have gone before us on earth. This may not be a memory that our conscious minds have access to. But it is still there. The energy that flows through our bodies in the form of electrochemical, mechanical actions keeps this memory alive at a level that our conscious minds cannot perceive.
All movement comes from our collective memory via our DNA. All of our body's movements come from everything that has ever gone before us. Those protoplasmic amoebas, those primitive reptilian/bird-like creatures, the way the trees move in the wind are all present in our everyday, routine, bodily movement. We just need to find a way to connect to it- a way to enter that collective preconscious memory.
We access this collective memory when we allow our bodies to tell each of their stories. These stories live and breath in our preconscious minds where our bodies live and breathe free of our conscious mind’s control and judgment. When other bodies are in the presence of our body stories, the energy flowing between our bodies activates and amplifies all of our collective and individual stories.
